You know, after listening to Vanilla Ice's Nu Metal album ('Hard To Swallow') I fail to see what's there to hate. It's a solid release and it predates a lot of the drivel that came out during the genre's peak. It's a well done album, with a pretty heavy (for the genre) backdrop and well-done rap stylings done by Vanilla Ice. There's simplicity, obviously, but that's Nu Metal and i've grown fine with that with all of the bands in the genre that I actually do like and all the time I took to actually look hard into and find a lot of good bands

And Clawfinger is by far one of the worst bands I have ever heard, regardless of genre. A terrible, TERRIBLE vocalist and a bland backing band to glue it all together.

Let me see if I have all of this right though....we have a Killswitch Engage/Hoobastank fan who thinks Slipknot sucks; an Audioslave/Trivium fan who is defending Clawfinger; an As I Lay Dying/Disturbed fan who hates Vanilla Ice's Nu Metal contributions; and finally a Three Days Grace fan who hates Korn. Thank god for being generic.

Also, seeing as this is an actual topic that requires input, why is there never an expansion on why you don't like a band or an artist ? "Korn sucks". But why ? WHY ?!

They were the first nu-metal band, if I'm not mistaken. hehe I find it pretty amusing that they'd be the worst being they pretty much started or influenced the formation of the entire genre as a whole. Even if you don't like Korn, calling them the worst does seem to push it, in my opinion. That's like saying Black Sabbath was the worst traditional metal band, and The Beatles were the worst rock band. It just doesn't make sense, schematically hehe. You have to take into consideration how influential they were and the band's general uniqness, the genuine musicmanship and put it in the equation. There is no other band like Korn, and they really do stand alone. People are entitled to their opinions, and by no means do you have to like Korn, to like nu-metal. I'm just saying isn't calling the founder of the genre you dig, the worst band of the said genre, a bit much? I'm an admitted Korn fanboy, but still, just saying, show Korn teh respect yo. :P
