This group glorifies everything that's associated with screaming guitars, blazing drums, and harsh vocals: that is metal.. Other points to note are the scraggly long hair, sometimes boozy breath...

All too often we find Metal associated with all that it is not, but what of the reality we see everyday? It's time for us to embrace the whole of it - and band together musically and culturally.

I'd hoped it wouldn't come to this - but the bombardment of those looking to sneer at the group name, feeling it to be incorrect(?!) has become somewhat annoying, so -for now at least- here's a link to a thread containing the explanation of our group name.

The charts weren't mainstream but regulating all the applications became too much for the moderators that volunteered to do it.. So the group became open indeed...

The weekly charts have changed a heap since this group became open hmm, back in the day we'd have black metal up at the top haha.. And people got individual invites o_O
