    My personal favorites are:

    1. Joanna Newsom - Have One on Me
    2. Devendra Banhart - Rejoicing in the Hands

    10. Devendra Banhart - Oh Me Oh My

    Its very difficult for me to determine exactly what I´d call "new weird america"... as opossed to terms like; Freak-Folk, neo-psychedelic, Folk Noir, Free Folk etc...

    To honor some of the roots i´d like mention; The Incredible Stringband, Tyrannosaurus Rex, Karen Dalton and Robbie Basho
