    Thrash Metal

Well, as to continue the other thread without hijacking it to much.

Does anyone have any more underground thrashmetal to let me know of? ^^

Would be awesome if you'd help a thrashseeker out ^^

    I would recommend couple more:
Assorted Heap - Mindwaves (heavy riffing thrash, close to Mandator and Metallica)

Acid Storm - Biotronic Genesis (awesome song structures much tempo changes, heavy riffing thrash)

Attomica - Disturbing The Noise (simplistic but very enjoyable thrash, it has released as a perfectly remastered version couple years back, other their records arent even on cds, though production on those sucked pretty much, if you want to hear best songs from them you could find their livealbum from 2003 called Back And Alive)

Dyoxen - First Among Equals (Peace Sells era Megadeth style thrash)

Sepultura - Schizophrenia (if you haven't already, and it's a unforgiven thing if you won't do it right now!)

    You should try these:

    Deathchain - Deadmeat Disciples
    Deathchain - Deathrash Assault

Both of them are fast and well-played death/thrash metal. Deadmeat Disciples as the band's debut-album blew nearly every Finns brains out when it was released, and the very-very-soon-to-be-released second album "Deathrash Assault" is now prepared even better, and it's grown a bit as well.

    Re:

Flare, you have weird word using. But I know what you mean, as i said it's simplistic, but for me, it works excellent. Too bad their best song Marching Over Blood isn't re-recorded, because the original has crow-alike singer on vocals and after half of the song they go way too over speedy, would say after half it's if not unlistenable, it is worse what it could be. But like i said it among other old songs you can find from their official livealbum Back And Alive, it was their comeback gig from 2003 (warming up Overkill, if i remember right) so singer's timing isnt right at times, but it's good, all those old songs are good with this much better singer who singed on Disturbing The Noise too and the most important thing you can hear on those old songs what's going on because it's not that insane as on those original albums.

I'll recommend some good Heavy/Thrash Metal and Power/Thrash Metal albums this time:
Demolition - Out Of No Land
Pyracanda - Two Sides Of A Coin
    Eudoxis - Open Fire
    Powermad - Absolute Power
Reverend - World Won't Miss You
Kragens - Dying In A Desert

And all Defiance's three albums are pretty good too.
German's Fatal Embrace with Ultimate Aggression album is worth checking out. From same country Delirium Tremens' both albums too. Buried God's Sacrificed EP is totally old-school thrash from Germany, very recommended. UK's Arbitrater if you find any of their records, they are new band to me just found them out.

You will spend some time finding those.

EDIT: Attomica changed their name to Atomica when they made their comeback. Back And Alive can be found better with Atomica name.

It's good album, but to me their debut is better. More solid riffing as a complete piece, and more thrashy.
But Deathrash Legions song most of all is so awesome from this new album. A song for headbanging.
This album's March Of The Thousand Legions definately.

Deathrash Assault is a fucking moshpit. Better structures, better sounds and even more awesome titles to their songs. "Napalm Satan", now, how big of a blast is that even when you just read the name in your mind? It gives me a spin to an absolute orgy of monster-apes, dammit.

Have you guys heard Annihilator's new album, Schizo Deluxe (what an unique supername is that :/, come on)? It is said to be their best album for years. Looking really forward to it!

    Re:

I have heard Annihilator's newest. It's not their best album in years (actually last good album was Criteria For A Black Widow, and before that Refresh The Demon, and AIH and Never Neverland of course), not even close, there's one or two decent songs Drive and Plasma Zombies. Same as on All For You, two decent songs. It was a marketing thing for Jeff Waters to say something stupid shit like "it's back to old-school heavy/thrash metal songwriting. This is for metal fans.". But he knows that somebody will swallow it, he learned that from Lars Ulrich who said of St.Anger before it was released as we all rembemer, that "it's Justice mixed with Kill Em All".

Let's not talk about peer to peer here more than this, but you have to put your connection to passive from 'connection settings' if you have firewall, then you can search.

I just managed to put those neckbreaking bands from my lazyness to list right of here. Pretty much all bands what i like from Thrash and Death Metal, there might be something you people might like to find out. They are all good. Two what i left out because lastfm mistakes, Darkness (it thought it was The Darkness) and Outcast (it thought it was OutKast). But maybe it was worth of little work. Anyway there's just very good Thrash and Death metal bands, not all i know or have listened, only good ones. There's not really straight melo death or thrash, only what are heavy as fuck Thrash or Death Metal or both.

I was just listening to new Hateframe. They've added some of the new demo-songs of the upcoming album to mikseri. W.T.T.W. and Portrait Of The Dead World, both quite a massacre. They've maintained their sound which was successful in Sign Of Demise, but I'm not sure does this offer me anything too good.

W.T.T.W. is very fucking sweet new song by Hateframe. Will definately look forwad for their second chapter of finnish thrash metal.

Anihilated - Created In Hate (very good Thrash Metal from UK)
    Anihilated - The Ultimate Desecration
    Deathamin - Mass Of What

Thank you all. Hypnosia and Demolition Hammer rocks ^^ Hypnosia is possibly a new favourite =)

  • Carnivore

This was Peter Steele's band, prior to his founding Type O Negative. For the first, self-titled album, imagine Venom if Peter Steele was the frontman, and add a very post-apocalyptic world story theme to it, and you get the idea. Good stuff.
The second album, Retaliation, has a lot of crossover hardcore influence. I don't care as much for that one, although it's still a pretty good album.

Carnivore was released in 1985, and Retaliation was released in 1987. Both albums were combined on one CD, called Carnivore/Retaliation. Both albums were also separately remastered and re-released, with each featuring three bonus demo tracks, in 2001. They're not so hard to find on half.com

All I have in this world is my balls and my word, and I don't break 'em for no one. You understand?

Carnivore is not thrash metal. They can have some parts, but so does Mercyful Fate. Carnivore is speed metal, but both their albums are pretty good.
