  I was about to comment on Beethoven's ninth symphony about how amazing it is on the shoutbox but it really is overrun with imbeciles.   tour dates are listed for a artist whose touring, not for an artist whose music is being played. if a cover band is touring should the original artist be listed as on tour? no, obviously not. if a musician is playing someone elses pieces they are the ones on tour and it should go on their page.

  Meh, I think it's fairly amusing. Furthermore, I've always seen it as that Composer X's works are being played live, and it just so happens that that's how last.fm handles artists that are soon to have shows. This group is kind of silly. There are about a million things to get angrier about than this.
