  I've just finished "Evinta"... It's pretty good album but it's not MDB! I love this band so much but i'll stick to their works like Angel and the Dark River...

  Personally i would not recommend "Evinta" to people who are not great fans of My Dying Bride and who liked their doom-death-gothic style. They should stick to the core albums of this band, although i've heard great feedback from people who like you listen to a great variety of music including the very atmospheric style in which this last album was made in. But for people who love this band as much or more then i do, i don't think My Dying Bride could ever produce something that we would/could ever hate.

  What does everyone make of the new "Evinta" project? Lot of whining online because of no guitars, but that would generally be the whole point of a project like this surely... Personally I think it's wonderful/beautiful stuff - but I enjoy bands like Dark Sanctuary and Dargaard which are very similar in style, so it's not such a shock for me.
