BradPJ I can't say I've extensively tested Unity, however when I used it I found it very hard to get to where I want to be. I had also switched to Fedora when the previous version of Ubuntu was released but wanted to test Unity. In the end I decided I didn't want to learn how to use it when I was very happy with Gnome 3 after I struggled to come to grips with it.

Yeah the wifi management can be a pain in the ass on Debian based distros, but then again it's quite easy even for unexperienced user to overcome it. I've tried Archbang and didn't like like it as much as #!

gabberhardcore vvv crunchbang is nice, although configuring wifi on some chipsets is a bloody mess... archbang = arch linux + crunchbang. pretty nice for post-ubuntuians.
