Hope Sandoval has just released a new - previously unreleased - beautiful song „Wild Roses“, label: “Le Village Vert“. It's part of the "In The Air" compilation of Air France. http://www.myspace.com/afintheair

There is some talk about Hope having already recorded a whole new album - but there seem to be some label complications:

There is a Hope Sandoval album ready, but it's not being released through Mind expansion.
As to it being released through Rough trade, most likely not.
But Hope's cd is done but waiting for a release date.

BTW: Mind Expansion is the label that will release former Mazzy Star member Suki Ewer 's solo debut Kind of Hazy on August 19.
