Beschreibung:
A group for those who have or aspire to have superior taste in music.
AIMS:
This is a group for musically knowledgeable people who are able to discern quality music over one or more genres to discuss and share music with the aim of refining their individual musical palates.
RULES OF JOINING:
1. You must have at least 10,000 Scrobbles.
2. You must have at least 500 artists in your library.
3. Diversity in musical taste is encouraged, but an expert knowledge of any one genre is acceptable given you are open minded.
4. You must be willing to actively contribute to the group.
5. You're presence in the group should not lead to Radiohead, Coldplay or Muse dominating the charts.
POLICY:
To an extent this group is elitist. The purpose of this is not to encourage pretentiousness but to ensure that a high standard of beneficial discussion can take place.
I realize that I myself have a long way to go in terms of musical development, and that I am woefully ignorant of some genres. It is my intention that this group provide an environment where we can learn from each other.
Obviously however, this goal would be frustrated if the group were completely open. There is no point for instance sharing musical advice with someone who's musical taste goes no further than the latest singles they heard on MTV.

My Father works in Food Nutrition and Human Health, and goes there quite a lot for that. I went with him once =)
