come to the library during opening hours! socials are normally printed on little takeaway flyers that you have have (and give to your friends)

It's getting to that time of the year when the Music Library has to elect a committee for the 09/10 year! For that we need people to stand for election! Depending on the levels of interest there will be 4 positions available to stand for: President (day-to-day running, volunteer rota, sort out problems/insubordination) Secretary (generally organise everybody else, make sure our member lists and e-mail addresses are up to date) Treasurer (keep our finances in order, stop people spending £500 on that must-have out-of-date Brian May vinyl) Social Security (big us up, design posters, organise events) The AGM will be in the week before Easter with the date yet to be announced but if you think any of these positions might be for you then send an e-mail to unionmusiclibrary@googlemail.com. Don't be shy!

I might be able to do you a copy of the Shadows if I have it at home, well if we don't buy it, we have some multi album disc things, which it might be on if that's any help. =)

that does suck. complain to last.fm, maybe they'll add the feature to the new last.fm?! sarah, as far as i know, i don't think we have any shadows stuff, but it'll be shopping time soon...... what dream purchases do the music library members have in mind?

I have discovered the Shadows. Do we have any Shadows stuff in the music library? Also we *need* to get this CD I have at home called 'Foot tappers'... its a compilation of 60's instrumental tracks by like the Shadows, the Sufaris etc thats got songs that are used all the time in ads and films...its just immense. I know i'll forget to mention these things when i get back so i'm putting my thoughts here for safe keeping :)
