Firefox 5.0 Compatibility

I upgraded to Firefox 5.0 today. Last.fm Firefox extension is incompatible.

Please update extension to work on Firefox 5.0.

Workaround

Until an official version is released you can edit your current version to be compatible with FF 5.0.

Pathnames with " " around them are individually different:
Go to C:\ "DOCUMENTS & SETTINGS" \ "USERNAME" \ "Anwendungsdaten" \Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\"PROFILE"\
extensions\{82BC70E0-FE85-11DA-A899-3A655C103D30}

Open install.rdf with Text Editor

Search for


Update the MaxVersion line:
<em:maxVersion>5.0.*</em:maxVersion>

Save the file. Restart Firefox if it was running.

Extension works again (tested with Pandora).

LastFM and FF 5

A more easy and clean way to use incompatible extensions is to install extension "Add-on Compatibility Reporter" and, magically, all incompatible extensions becomes compatible!
Be aware that does not imply that incompatible extensions will work... It depend of the extension.
For LastFM, for me, it is OK.

LastFM 1.0.3.5 is compatible with FF5

A new version (1.0.3.5) is available which is compatible with Firefox 5.0

Reinstalling the addon might work

I updated to Firefox 5.0. Firefox then claimed the LastFM 1.0.3.5 addon wasn't compatible for whatever reason and disabled it. I reinstalled the addon and it works fine now.

Napster still doesn't work

I installed the new Version (1.0.3.5) but still have the same problem with napster
