Scrobbling from Pandora Mobile?

Scrobbling from Pandora Mobile?

Has anybody found any ways to scrobble Pandora plays from a mobile phone? That would probably involve emailing Pandora and pestering them to integrate last.fm into their stuff + app.

I downloaded Fennec (which is basically Firefox for mobile phones) but a). it wouldn't let me install the last.fm extension, and b). visiting Pandora.com says "use the Android app dummy".

Not a huge deal, but I would love a way to scrobble my Pandora plays from my phone while I'm driving/working out. Any ideas?

The only thing I've found on the trons is this short thread:

The last post has a Pandora email you could use to pester them. It would be awesome if someone worked it out.

I also use last.fm almost exclusively for the scrobbling/tracking, but the way they make their money is really from the subscribers, and the primary difference between having a paid vs. free account is the extended radio and streaming features.

So since that pretty much means that Pandora and last.fm are in large part competitors, it's pretty unlikely we'll see official scrobbling support happen from Pandora. In the meantime, I highly suggest using the "Universal Scrobbler" web app. It works pretty well from a mobile, and apparently there's a mobile app in the works. I use it constantly for things like playing cds in my car, since you can manually scrobble a whole album at once.
