  Ciekals, who was the main composer in Ljå, left the band and started a new one named Djevel a few months ago. I am not sure whether Ljå are still active or not. Check out Djevel on MySpace. If you like Ljå, I think you will like this band too.

  The 7" EP is rather good, especially the "Russian Vodka" cover, which I prefer over the other one. It's a shame there are only 2 cover songs on this EP though, I would have liked an extra song (at least) of pure Koldbrann music.

  There is a video on Youtube where we can see Koldbrann playing at HITS 2009 with their new lineup. We cannot see Folkedal, but Voidar is very apparent. Also, the 7" EP "Russian Vodka / Metalni Bog" is out now and can be purchased from Agonia Records either on black vinyl or red vinyl. I think the black version will be available elsewhere soon (the red one is exclusive to Agonia). Two new shirts are available too: a red one ("Russian Vodka") and a yellow one ("Metalni Bog").

  There is an update available about the new line-up on Koldbrann's website: "KOLDBRANN have recruited two new live members for the coming live concerts. Folkedal (session for Sarkom) and Voidar (Hjarnidaudi) will handle the drums and the 2nd guitar. KOLDBRANN now consists of: Kvass - Guitar | Mannevond - Vocals | S.G.J. - Bass | Folkedal - Drums (live) | Voidar - Guitar (live)"

  For those who don't know it yet, Fordervelse (drums) is no longer a part of Koldbrann. There is still no official statement from the band, but more details can be found on Fordervelse's myspace profile.

  Hello everybody and welcome to the new members ! Hopefully more people will join the group... Just for information, I didn't choose the connected artists randomly. They are either the side-projects of the current and past members of Koldbrann, or some bands who shared a split 7" with them and some others who toured with them. Also, any logged in user (not only group members) can post messages in the forum, so feel free to create a new thread if you like, to discuss with others, etc. ;)
