  @reregina. Completely agree, while he may share certain expressions and vocalisms with his father, that does not count as a musical influence! I hear little in common between the two.

  @MrMorizon. He said he admired his father but his father did not influence his music one bit. He said that in an interview check it out. Plus music was his way of escaping his father so yeah they shouldn't add him to the group.

  Did none of you ever have the simple IDEA of adding his brilliant father to this group? I mean, honestly, Jeff honoured him. The way Jeff looks on the "Grace" album cover is just like Tim looked on "Happy / Sad", Dream Brother is an analogy to "Dream Letter" by Tim Buckley on the said album "Happy/Sad", the song is btw dedicated to Jeff and his mother, Tims folky style of guitar playing sure did inspire Jeff, they have a very similar voice, both voices being a little bit androgynic but just SO brilliant and haunting. So honestly: Get Tim in there. He's a brilliant dude, too. The two of them even met once and Tim Buckley isn't unknown, in Folk business he's actually a bit known and has been influencing.
