I am going to the Free Clifford Brown Jazz Festival, (Official site: http://www.cliffordbrownjazzfest.com) all week, June 14–20, 2010 in Wilmington, Delaware. If you will be anywhere near the U.S. Mid-Atlantic east coast, (New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington, D.C.) it's only 2 hours drive. Wilmington, Delaware, (where Brownie was born and is buried), hosts an annual jazz fest in his honor. Citifest, the cities arts commission, sponsors the Clifford Brown Jazz Festival, a FREE week long event held mostly in outdoor venues at various locations in Wilmington. (I'm not a promoter, just a Jazz fan) Hope to see you there!
