Things you love about yourself!

I really don't mean to brag, but I guess I'll have to do it to make myself feel better.

- I'm fairly smart
- I'm quite the writer, with many ideas floating in my head
- In my little circle of friends, I'm into the most obscure and underground of music
- I'm a kind guy who doesn't get angry that often and am rather laid back
- When I go through phases, I don't completely grow out of and disregard whatever the previous phase was. I still like it
- I'm good to talk to about your problems and will keep it a secret for as long as needed
- I like to think of myself as a mediator in an argument
- I can appreciate the good within something which seems evil
- I'm an empathetic person who can look at an argument from both sides before reaching a conclusion
- I love nature, especially winter and just appreciate the beauty of it in such a bleak atmosphere

This is all subjective, of course. But that's what I think of myself.

1. Loyal friend to those who deserve it (which are very few)
2. I don't have problems with keeping secrets.
3. My music taste, which bores me at times, but could be far worse. I discovered everything on my own, and I'm proud at that.

1. My taste in art (in general).
2. My writing.
3. My eyes and my hands.
4. My sarcastic sense of humor.
5. I'm very loyal to my friends. I don't have many friends but I care about them very much which, unfortunately causes me a lot of pain sometimes.
And I'm rather intelligent and I think I'm pretty much open-minded. I don't take myself too serious which I consider as a good thing.

I'm observant and like to say the stupidest or most surprising things just to make people laugh

But I don't like my intelligence, it keeps leading me to the wrong path in life -_-

- I proud myself of honestly believing that i have good taste in music. It does not mean that everyone will like it but i think it's good quality music.
- Twice in my life i have been told that i have nice lips. I think it's the only physical aspect of me that i really like.
- I'm very laid back. It's rare for me to get into an argument.
- Aaand that's all i can think of at the moment.

"Things you hate about yourself" would be much easier to answer, in fact xD

as for me, it also makes people expect me to do things that I don't want to do. If I keep them happy, I'm a liar. If I don't keep them happy, I feel like shit.
I know about that... but I got tired of trying to keep them happy. To disappoint people feels like a liberation sometimes. Well, and I don't feel like an intelligent person anymore, anyway.

that comes with the territory of my being far too loyal, BTW. I'm like a dog on a leash. I'm on top of the world for as long as someone's getting me out of the backyard for a little while and making me feel loved. Ultra-fucking-dependent.

I make way too much of the people who probably aren't as invested in my life as I feel they must be, like a stupidly-faithful dog in shackles who just fritters away their life waiting for another visit (what else can be done when you're stuck to a stake in the ground?). And then showers them with affection they most likely don't really deserve.
