I continually to add to the mix as I listen - it remains one of my most populated tags.

I know I was responsible for quite a few errant tracks in the beginning due my taking other's word and tagging the track without having a listen myself.

I'd bet the majority of "mistaken identities" though are due to last.fm'ers tagging the artists or albums instead of (or in addition to) the individual tracks. (guilty of it myself - just noticed I still had the artist Mogwai tagged as such, which I quickly fixed!)

    UnderKnown Artists you might like?

That wasn't me. Let's find who did that and burn them at the stake. Rawr!!

She does have some instrumental songs that are good though.

People should be careful when they tag. But also ban tracks as you discover they have vocals (or as you discover they suck) because people are idiots.

  • yeah, but you can't just ban cause that means it won't play on any station doesn't it?
Its a good song, just not for this station

i like the idea. i am tagging some stuff:
    Nico Muhly (preview)
    Seaworthy (preview)
    Sleepy Town Manufacture (preview)
    Ensemble (preview)
    Secede (preview)
Proswell (i won't preview him as his free tracks aren't amazing as the other ones)
    Signal Hill (preview)
    Disparition (preview)

Other stuff i tagged and won't preview as they don't have any free tracks available on last.fm:
    Donato Wharton
    Substractivelad
    Triosk

I'd also tag Greg Haines, Johan Johannsson and others but they don't have music available for the last.fm radio.

I also suggest we stop tagging the most famous bands such as Mono and Explosions in the sky, which everyone knows, in order to offer some more obscure but still worthy music, and actually be of any help.

As for the bet, here are the PICTURES OF MY PENIS
  • For God sakes, why is Avril Lavinge tagged?

And I thought I saw Jesus. He was playing hopscotch with Betty Carter, who was cursing Him in a skat-like gibberish for not saying butterfingers....-Saul Williams
  • sorry

oops, listening to group radio...not tag radio!

    Sigur Ros' ( ) album

I think of this album as instrumental. The 'lyrics' are in a language that isn't real by language standards and are sparse at most. Certainly more an instrument than anything else. If you agree, cool, if not, cool.

  • The Weight of my Words (Four Tet Remix) - Kings of Convenience

  • Radiohead, Coldplay and Death Cab for Cutie are all not instrumental and are in the top listened for the week.

There has to be an EASIER way...

    The tag to use is:
"instrumental music that makes you feel-group tag radio"

why not use an unique but obscure abbreviation like "imfeelg" ?
    easier to type out... ;-)

I could also see an automated method, where a
N computer programs spider an authorized playlist
using artificial/real user identities to tag each item
with imfeelg; where N= number required to make a tag a
    globaltag.

Contact me to discuss this further. I'm an admin at
    http://bit.ly/mylife interested in crowd sourcing.

    Thanks,
    ~Adriano
