Sick of Denness.net variables and code?!

    Well fear no more!

I have created this handy URL generator for your convinience. Just select the options you require, put in your username, and it gives you the code you need to copy and paste into your signature/website. Simple!

    Use it here:
    http://www.denness.net/sigs/url.php

Thats nothing to do with the sig if you account doesn't pick it up :)

You'll need to go to the Web Site Support forum and post there for help on this one. Here's a tip: Post your plugin log. Go into the preferences for the plugin and click "view log file" and check for any errors messages, or just post it on the forum.

I have used the new generator, LOVE IT, but what i can't figure out how to change, is the date format, i would like it to say jan 06, rather than 09/01 any help would be appreciated (i found the date variable, but just can't figure out what argument to use to get the format i want) (is the date change a subscriber only option?

Yes, the PHP date change is only available for subscribers I'm afraid.

Ahh, excellent, i will quit banging my head against that wall then, thanks for the reply

  • When I got my RPI code, I tried both the BBCode version and the HTML version, and neither are showing up on my entries on my forum.

  • Note: I said that they are not working on my forum, a phpBB forum hosted by 6k2.com.

  • Hey! Don't know if here is the best place to ask this, but I just wanted to know why does my signature now only says "just played" for all of the three recent songs instead of just for the first one, that is, it doesn't show the date and/or the hour the other two were played. :(

    Cheers!

Hi, I am a subscriber and my question is: Could I change the date's format? I would like to display the time in 24 hours and the date like this 16/02/06. Is this possible? If yes, how could I manage it?

    Many thanks in advance.

Hey. Best email me for questions as I forget about this forum sometimes!

Anywho. The subscriber RPI takes the standard PHP date format as an input in the URL.
    /df/<dateformat>/ is the URL

For 24 hours: http://www.denness.net/rpis/u/lozzd/df/d-m-y%20G:i/ (obviously you'll need to change your username, and sorry but you have to use '-' instead of '/')

This page has all the date variables: http://uk2.php.net/manual/en/function.date.php

    Hope this helps.
    Laurie

That shouldn't happen unless you played the tracks *really* quickly... Let me know what the times of your last tracks are if this happens again and I'll look into it.

I wasn't playing my tracks exceptionally quickly, just one after the another really. But surprisingly, it's working alright again! :D

Hmm, well thats good. Email me if it happens again with the times of the tracks (obviously you'll have to get the times from your profile :P)
