  Wow, awesome find VerbalRazors. A gem for my youtube collection. Been into Sacrifice's "Forward to Termination" lately. I havent listened to it enough times to have a good perspective on it, but high quality thrash in my opinion. They definitely keep the riffs coming.

  Saint Vitus' self-titled is my favorite by them. Scott Reagers is a great vocalist and, as much as I like the albums that succeeded, I almost wish they stuck with him. I would kill to see Aeternus play material from their first two albums. Some of the best metal ever recorded.

  Nostalgia definitely plays a big part in my liking of certain bands or albums. Deathspell Omega is a good example, actually; I got into them before they released Si Monumentum, a period where I was heavily into raw black metal and they satiated that desire perfectly. I still like that era of the band quite a lot (never got into anything after Si Monumentum...) but I imagine I'd find it pretty lackluster if I heard it today for the first time.
