Favourite Albums

I can't get enough of Benga's latest release
Diary Of An Afro Warrior
He's become one of my favourite dubstep producers
I think the album will also be a classic
in my opinion.

Also, Caspa & Rusko's FabricLive album is the best dubstep mixes I have ever heard. It is so sick. Amazing..

What is everybody elses favourite albums?

Album wise i've recently liked Headhunte's Nomad and Burial's Untrue. Also Ital Teks Cyclical is heavy as hell pure IDM-sounds on that one..

Now im waiting for Starkeys album to drop, i've heard the clips on it and im liking them alot.

I can't get into Ital Tek - they are well too hard for when i'm in a dubstep mood.

I'm probably get Skream's new album - apparently it's a lot darker than his older "cheesy" stuff.

Sick beats.

I love Vex'd, it's a bit darker than normal dubstep but its fukin ill. Listen to the tune "angels".
Also D1's album "hip hop haunted house party" is pretty cutting edge on the dubstep scene. real light quirky beats

Probably Benga's Newstep, while I do enjoy dubstep, I'm not into it as much as you guys are. I listen to the main names at least, and that's good enough for me.

well i tried merzdub and it was awful.... :D japanoise is too hard stuff for me ;)

well, i like iTAL tEK's dubstep-stuff as long as it really is dubstep, all too often he releases cheesy idm stuff... and normally i like idm

the bug's London Zoo is really massive, but i don't get how people call this dubstep... it's dancehall maybe, but definetly not dubstep. no bass at all.

I ve just finished first "interview" with "My demons" of Mr Distance...yes,this will not be my last hearing of it... :)and very soon i will confront to his another works "Repercussions"..somebody has written in shoutbox on main website of artist,that this is sad and mad album or something.... i cannot wait!; P

Degenerate by Vex'd and Disrupt's Foundation Bit. They're both pretty underrated, check them out.

im a massive fan both of burial's albums even though its become a bit fashionable to namecheck himnow. fantastic albums though with a very human edge to them which you dont always get with dubstep. and just picked up benga's diary of an afro warrior which is massive. cant go wrong with any of the dubstep allstar volumes either

omg , tho im japanese, surpirised to hear that you are talking about merzdub in dubstep group! merzbow and Jamie Saft's cant produce straight-ahead dub(step) tracks!! silly? haha,,, sure it is.

i came from minimal...so my fav dubstep producers are Pinch, Kode9, 2562, headhunter, king midas sound, distance... to name a few tho. best in 2008 was A Diary of An Afro Warrior by Benga. classic. best track,,, Insomnia (Benga Remix). always mix sounds mo' exciting for me than recorded one.

Both awesome albums.

Mine now are Burial - Burial and Boxcutter - Glyphic,
but now I'm going to buy Benga - Diary of an Afro Warrior, Skream - Skream and Boxcutter's other albums, so we'll see ;)
