    Speakers?

Looking into purchasing some new speakers preferably under $200, maybe a little more, new or used. What do you guys use with you set up? Any suggestions?

You're gonna wanna leave a few more details for more helpful advice but on that budget. I'm assuming because you posted in this group that you already have an amplifier / speakers. If you could post the details of those it could help. I'd recommend looking second hand with that budget. However, if you prefer new there's some well reviewed bookshelf speakers online at that price - but make sure you go to a hifi shop with some music you're familiar with and give them an audition! I recently purchased some Paradigm Mini Monitors which I'm really really pleased with, but they'd be a bit out of your price range.

Sorry I didn't put up a lot of details. I just wanted to see what some of you guys had hooked up... so yea after a bunch of research, ebay bids, craigslist offers, I ended up going with a pair of Polk RT 400's, practically new, got them for $100, probably could had offered $75 this guy was just trying to get rid of them. I was amazed at the price so I couldn't pass it up, they're pretty sweet, now to upgrade my standard Sherwood receiver. Slowly boosting up my system, next up saving up the money to upgrade it. By the way the turntable I have running right now is a Music Hall MMF 5.

So I guess the question now is... what receivers/amps do you guys have running your system.

Looks like you did well. I'm running a Pioneer SA-740 with an accompanying EQ that I got off my old man. 30 years old and still going strong!

Having never shopped for a new amp I've got no idea on recommendations. Your turntable is pretty badass according to the internet. Mine's a Technics 1210mk2.
