Anyone like classic horror?

My favorite horror movies are the classic ones. The Shining, The Sentinel, The Birds, The Thing, Evil Dead etc.

old horror is mostly all i watch (and actually enjoy) as far as horror goes, modern horror is mostly shit. i remember when i was a kid and i found my dads old tapes of dracula and frankenstein and thats what got me hooked on horror. vincent price, peter cushing and boris karloff are my favourite actors, i can watch anything with them in it. the 40s and the 70s were two of the best decades for horror.

phantom of the opera is one of my favourite classics, the novel is awesome as well. im hoping one day itll get a proper modern adaptation.

it's funny how the post asks about b/w movies and there's a lot of people like "yeah! the 80s, so classic!" eheheh..
For me, best period is the 60s, but I also love the 30s (both German and US)
