Practice while standing

Just this hour, as I have only just got a good guitar strap, I have started to play standing. It feels like a whole new game lol

At first it took me a while to adjust to this but now I think im getting the hang of it. The best part about it is its stoping me from taking the odd look at the fret board. Its also being a huge boast to my confidence as I feel (and look) like the real deal when I look in the mirror :)

So what do other people think about standing or sitting wiht the guitar? Should have I already been practising while standing? Any tips will be helpful too :)

I always try to play standing but I don't have a guitar strap (yet) which makes it very hard... impossible.

When everyone else is standing up, why shouldn't we? I'm used playing while sitting since it really is much easier, but I recommend getting up on two feet because that's the way most will do if they'll even climb on stage. It's will be a bit harder, but after you've adjusted the guitar and yourself to the right position, it will be much more rewarding. And that's the easier way to hit Star Power. :p

i love playing the guitar while standing even tho its a bit more difficult. i also have a way hard time trying to read my music cuz i dnt hav a stand so it far away. damn tiny print...
