  As @AdeltrautMeier has pointed out, last.fm has been deteriorating since the CBS acquisition. I propose this group move to the freedom respecting community at http://libre.fm/ Libre.fm has a good foundation and needs more members to help improve it!

  How to make the situation better? Those who care will search and find. Artists have to make the work accessible by putting it in right places or advertise. No need to rush anyone, to my mind. :) Let the matter flow, if there is shortage of something, it will be supported anyway. If there is not, it will fade in shadow. Nothing like natural way of things.

  @lastfmsupport: We do not spam with our group. The problem (now since over 2 years) for us and a lot of other groups is the code of last.fm. When you send a message to all members of a group the page will freeze... for each time you press send after that, the message will be sent 2 times... so when you press the send button 2 times on the frozen page, people get 4 messages. This problem was also encountered by a lot of other users on last.fm and it is a problem in the code of last.fm that wasn't solved since OVER (9000) 2 years. So please solve the problem and do not accuse some of the last active members on your site of spamming. We're uploading free music for hundreds of hours of work. So if you don't see us as an important part of your website and begin to blame your faults on us don't wonder why people go over to bandcamp and soundcloud.
