Sam Sparro

Black & Gold, Sam Sparro's latest single, has become an instant hit heading straight to the top of the UK charts. This is more than a flash in the pan though as he jumps straight in with the likes of Justice and Hercules & Love Affair as part of our soundtrack to 2008.

Co-produced by DJ Andrew Butler and Tim Goldsworthy of DFA Records Hercules and Love Affair's self-titled debut was released on the 10th March and has swept both the club scene and the critics up into a whirlwind romance with it's unique modernisation of disco.

El Guincho

After receiving glowing praise from online music mag Pitchfork, Spanish artist El Guincho is all over the place. His debut album Alegranza! is a hazy summer album full of loops and pop song choruses, fresh yet oddly familiar. His track Fata Morgana is a good place to start.
