Hey everybody! I am Persian (Iranian), and I just want you to know that many people here love Finnish music. In fact, they love Nightwish, Rasmus, Poets of the Fall, Sonata Arctica, H.I.M, To/Die/For, Amorphis and Sunrise Avenue, without even knowing they are Finnish! Anyway, Finnish music has so many fans in Iran. Way to go!...

My czech friend showed me finnish music and from this time I can´t stop listening of this beautiful language :) I listen Värttinä, Indica, Viikate, Rajaton, Club for five... (And also Nightwish and Rasmus.)

Recommendations eh? My fav miiiight possibly be Viikate. I love these guys to bits. They're quirky, melodic, and appeal to my old fashioned dark side...love their voices-kind of low, harmonious and growly.:) 'Leimu' is a great track to start with. Also, I like 69 Eyes...they tend to sing in Engish and are a bit reminiscent of Sisters of Mercy...sort of Goth/Rock. 'Lost Boys' is a great track.
