Female movie score composers?

Female movie score composers?

I can't seem to find any.

I've always been a huge fan of movie scores but just realized that ALL the composers I've been listening to are male. Found some female composers who did the scores for TV shows and such but still haven't heard of a single female name behind a movie score. Comments? Suggestions please?

You should listen Emilie Simon, she maid the score of "la marche de l'empereur" very dreamlike, she's an excellent female compositor :-)

Selma Mutal in the "Milk of Sorrow" gorgeous soundtrack

The Milk of Sorrow soundtrack has not been released but I listened to it on Mutal's myspace page. Highly recommended.
