  I just said it was a good movie, which it is. That sentence does not contain the words "film noir" in it. Anyways, it did heavily influence film noir. It does have certain aspects that might make it noir-ish though. Crime, murder, mystery, psychological issues, suspense and pursuit, black and white expressionistic cinematography. Nice Sir Richard Bishop avatar by the way.
