    ECM artwork

    I don't think I have ever seen an ECM album cover that I didn't like. It means a lot to me that the label and the artists choose the most beautiful photos and artwork. When I look at an ECM album cover, I see the spirit of people who care about music and want us, the listeners, to enjoy it with all our senses.

    If someone knows the personal websites of the photographers who have worked for ECM, please post them here!

  • Sleeves of Desire

    Then you should definitely pick up a copy of Sleeves of Desire, a collection of ECM covers since the label's inception.

    I love the photography, of course, but I am partial to the graphic work of Barbara Wojirsch... like on Pat Metheney's Rejoicing.
