A Pain That I'm Used To

what songs have you heard from the new album??? im stateside, so besides precious my friend sent me live version of 'A Pain That I'm Used To' which sounded awesome [despite quality]

Macrovision ... will I ever like that?

Hmmm... I think I never had a single track I disliked so much that I skip it while listening to a DM album... This Macrovision song is a pain to me... (as probably the whole exciter album is)...

Good that they going a bit "retro" and make music I loved DM for... "Black Celebration" still is my all time favorite album and probably the most listened CD I ever bought.

I really love the comeback of the old times analog synthesizers on PTA. And I still stay with "The Sinner In Me" for the coolest track. I wonder whats so cool about "Nothing's Impossible" :) ... nice track but no highlight to me ... Probably because I am not an native english speaker? Or you need to turn up the volume ... hehe ;-)

I think their last album is the weakest so far. I sense there is definitely post-Exciter and an increasing departure from all the other albums which I find excellent.

Anyway maybe my problem is that I'm listening to much to People are People and maybe I'm biased towards the last album.

This week I'm going to see their concert, so maybe I can change my mind...

The new album is wonderful :D
A pain that I'm used to is the best track. Precious is good but a bit "syntethic" I think.

playing the angel is great. I'm especially weak for John the Revelator.
I've been to two concerts during the "Playing the angel"-tour. =D Both great, of course!

I belive my favourite album is Violator though.
