    Excellent Tracks

Good music is great, excellent music is even better.
An excellent track can make a day to become a beautiful day. It helps us to forget the trouble, to see the colors, to relax and to enjoy a happier life.

Lets share some excellent tracks, that help to feel better.

I will make a start here:
Sehnsucht by Ellen Allien has an almost addictive style of minimalistic techno. It is also a very good interpretation of longing.
    Video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FmQFdDZbrdc

Sly Detector by Pig & Dan is one progressive tech house track that makes it very easy to feel euphoric.

Miss You by Trentemöller is one minimalish ambient track that helps to remember that you still have a soul.

Feel free to share some excellent tracks and Please Do Provide Links to the track or to a video.

    more excellent tracks

none of these have a terribly high bpm, and I don't think this is the place for neurotrance, so with the warning of chilly waters ahead I give you:

    White Pixels by Sync24

Like a Summer Day by Asura

Chill In Natura by Chilled C'quence

Well, I got several nice tracks, all quite diverse, so don't know if you'll concur with my selection :)

Niobe by Caribou. Great track, slow, melodic but deep, and of course very beautiful. (provided link has youtube video on it).

Next two tracks are quite popular, but still very nice:
The Sky Was Pink (Holden Remix) by Nathan Fake
Rauch (Luke Abbott remix) by MIT

Devil's Water (Original Mix) by Renny Foster. Kind of depressing but beautiful song, with some ambient sounds and vocals.
    Rennie Foster - Devil's water @ youtube

The Deep End by TJ Kong & Nuno Dos Santos. Nuno Dos Santos plays regularly here in Utrecht (Netherlands)

Machines Don't Cry by Rob Mayol. Quite unknown artist I came across here on last.fm. Several songs of him are downloadable from last.fm.

Hope you'll enjoy these on (or at least some of 'em)

    Gustavo Godoy-You Must Be Awake
Tiefschwarz Feat. Tracey Thorn-Damage (Buick Project Remix)----CLASSIC
    Lucca-Woodblocker (Funk D'Void Remix)

Astrid Suryanto-Distant Bar (Gutterstylz Vox Mix) -2009

Too many more to list, I have a huge collection of great house....I recommend checking these tracks out some of them border on being progressive house/tech house but they all have a deep sound. Some are more like nu-jazz but I like all of them
I wish I could link them all but, I cannot muster the energy to do that

  • Hi,
5 selections from my favourites... I will be glad to know if any of you happen to like them.
    Enjoy!

The following album which happens to be by the Swedish duo Carbon Based Lifeforms is undoubtedly one of my favourite albums of all times. The songs like Comsat and MOS 6581 (album version) surely make the album even more unique.
    Hydroponic Garden

Plastikman(one of the many production aliases of the producer Richie Hawtin) is probably the most hypnotic and trippy minimal techno artist imho. This track is my fav by him-deep shite(!!!):
    Consumed

Prolly my fav in idm-glitch, Autechre. And the best track by them so far-imho.
    Further

These were prolly my top three. Now let's move on to the others:

From the Gridlock EP by John Digweed. Very nice progressive track.
Gridlock (Digweed & Muir's Stereo Club Mix)
(I don't think you can hear it thru lastfm, so I guess you'll need go and download it -most probably- or I may find the youtube link for you just now...and yes, here we go!)

Another nice track, from the psychill-ambient producer Abakus this time.
    Deun Deu

There are so many electronic tracks which are so deep they make my skin crawl.

Extrawelt's "Soopertrack" is one of them. This distorted voice at the end… so beautiful… I cannot remember i cut this track short once.

    Ambient

A Thousand Words is an ambient track with a progressive rhythm.

Surprisingly, this track is not as popular with the last.fm users as it is with the DJs and radio stations who much too often use it for openings or endings of a set.

    Klin

    The Dangerously Progressive
    Klin by Dusty Kid.

Creates too much emotion while driving !

Also progressive and slightly trancy Somebody's Story by Solomun is a beautiful, minimalized techno.
