    @ Magnetius: Historically Conservative Revolution is the cultural movement of the '20, that includes Moeller Van der Bruck and the national-revolutionaries, Oswald Spengler, Martin Heidegger, Ernst Nolte and other intellectuals, Strasser brothers, Niekish, Junger and the national-bolshevicks. De Maistre and De Oliveira aren't in the CR movement, they're apparently only reactionaries (that I appreciate more than many CR thinkers...). Anyway, as for Donos Cortés for Carl Schmitt, every reactionary of this kind is effectively a conservative revolutionary at all (like as he write in "Roman Catholicism and political form" - every revolution become a reaction). We have to understand that we can find two kind of Conservative Revolution: the historical cultural movement, and the real, eternal, Conservative Revolution.

    Excelent name group. This can describe Nationalist Conservative Revolutions from 20's and 30's in Europe: the true and only Third Way. Out from closed politics theories who don't see beyond of Right and Left, where anything that isn't Marxirsm, is Liberalism (or I must say Neoliberalism?)

    Ok, there is two wings of the Conservative Revcolution: the left wing (like Nikisch), which is considered mostly with protestant, or even anti-christian ideas, in the way of national-bolshevism, and there is the right wing (like Joseph de Maistre, Pino Correa de Oliveira, and I will also include Junger here) which is almost 100% pro-christian (mostly catholic), and aspires to bring back the Old Regime (Ancien Regime), but without some late defects and imperfection of the Old Regime.=)

    We can consider similar, but not the same thing. Conservative Revolution wants a revolution against the system originated from modern revolutions. It defends and promotes a model, it isn't a simply defence of royalist power.
