a lot of thrash metal bands are leftist....and also in many death metal bands... I know many metalheads (also in black metal) of Leftwing but they prefer their ideals out of the music

and Iskra are an anarchist black metal band, although their style is influenced by crust punk. there are actually a few leftist black metal bands, most of them related to grindcore, crust, hardcore etc.

Ferec, is a Kurdish band from Kurdish part of Turkey, members of the band are workers, there are more into Kurdish rights and they are on left wing:

I just started listening to Týr, which is a folk/pagan/viking metal band from the Faroe Islands. From what I've gathered so far they have some revolutionary songs. Haven't heard too many of their songs yet, but for example from the song Take Your Tyrant:
"Everybody, take your tyrant
Make him pay for all his stay
Revolution, take your tyrant!
Bid him bleed for all his greed"

And from Hall of Freedom:
"Brother it breaks my heart
How this could be your part
Chains of a tyranny
Left you in poverty, famine and despair"

And a bit later in the same song:
"Shelter and food indeed
Freedom is what you need
Much as I hate to say
War is the only way freedom's seed is sown"

As far as I've gathered, they're pretty revolutionary.
