  Better kick the group up a notch....haven't heard anything since last November. :) My favorite album is The Pink Opaque, followed closely by Treasure. I love Cocteau Twins and I never tire of Liz's angelic voice! I also LOVE Robin Guthrie's solo stuff. :)

  Any well balanced and structured work can impulse a new movement. Jazz or rock developped from always similar pattern or chords. They are immediately recognizable. It did not happen with cold wave : Unknown Pleasures, Closer, Movement, Juju, Garlands, Lullabies. How is it today ? Where are they ? Chilled in past ? Fossilized on the waves of nostalgy ? IMPOSSIBLE ! This music replaces the shrinker. Let us stop telling that these albums are eternal and patatee patata. Let us make new albums further. Simple principle : the less equipment, the more efforts and concentration. Web offers opportunity to work in the distance (see Norma Loy and their carreer, when there were just few "minitels" and the post office around.). Not only to have comfort, buttons, and compulsive consuming of... What ?. So : who plays what ? Who writes what ? Who intends to make what ? Join, gather, and let us work. Cheers, & see us soon.

  Heaven or Las Vegas was the album that got into my very soul and stirred such a passion, that it was almost scary and yet beautiful at the same time. I've never had an artist affect me in that way before. Cocteau Twins have a way of transporting you into a musical dimension with no return to the same life you had before.   I know it's ridiculously optimistic, but does anyone know it there's any chance of Cocteau Twins gathering again on a tour? I'd LOVE to see them live. I only learned about them after the band dissolved.
