Älvestam joins Atoma on rhythm guitar and backing vocals: "I will be joining on rhythm guitar and vocals (as from the next album that is and not on "Skylight"). The plan is to be sharing the vocal duties with mastermind Ehsan Kalantarpour, in time, rather than being their new lead vocalist or anything, which I think will be a really cool approach. I am really excited and thrilled about sinking my teeth into the next installment, in this epic voyage through ambient soundscapes, that is the journey of AtomA! I'm pretty sure it will be something out of the ordinary!"

Christian basically said on Facebook that he's not gonna be doing any of the good old-style vocals anymore, haha. As I typed this Scar Symmetry's 2012 came on my itunes shuffle. That's what I'm talking about.

encyclopaedia metallum says he was formerly a vocalist for Quest of Aidance. It says that some dude named Anders Johansson does lead vocals and Jonas Kjelly is backup. I havent really listened to them at all thought, so im not sure.

lol Jihad +1 Also @RegimentDP Obviously we have not heard every singer in the world, but we do go on what we have heard. And we look at someones actual skill, not popularity or personal preference. For example: I love Deicide, but am willing to admit someone I don't like is a much better singer than Glenn. And I know there are a lot of good singers that come close to Christian, even on the borderline of equal, but none are as wanted. Seriously look at all of the different bands that want him. It's because he is that good. :)
