Can we write about SPAYED without mentioning the name of the frontman?
Yes we can, SPAYED could the be first Independent-Punk band ever to exist. but why do i bother to use the "could be"phrase? Simply because it is not up to me to give them that fucking pressure. do i see SPAYED as an Independent-Punk band? So much that it fucking bothers me, yeah it does, how can they have all Europe, South-America and even North America at their fucking will. and yet they are nothing but an Independent-Punk band.
there is nothing but articles and writings about this band, that is the whole fucking promotion they get. there are no Videos no Zines no Footage no official web-site, and no, not even an official "please fuck-my band's songs" with a free nice and fancy music player, i believe they called it "You Or My Space".
and please just try to understand me that if i could i would spit that all these facts about SPAYED are a lie, that they are not the last Independent Punk band to come from the Underground and stayed in the Underground, that there are not people begging for a fucking Vinyl, that there are not people lying about how they know, knew, met or will meet Melissa or Daniel and the other one whos name i will not named, that there's not around (and until this day) 67 bands wanting to support in any way, any SPAYED's tour possibility. that there are not many Non-corporate writers wanting to write and interview this band just like i dont, and of course that im the only one wanting to have a talk with the band. but im not.
Speaking with some fellows writers we came to the conclusion that SPAYED speaks through two different type of minds. One, the Suicidal-Fanatics always in position ready to read, act and imitate anything from SPAYED frontman and leader which name i will not named, and two, the self-proclaims Alternative Punk-rockers whom everyday admire SPAYED and their frontman but they are still too young and full of hopes to admit that their own "music" is nothing and never will, because SPAYED already exist. and they will surely soon become in just more fresh fanatic meat.
SPAYED consisted in Melissa (1987-2007), Daniel, and Cecile.
in April 2008 Cecile had health problems and stayed away from anything related to the band. it was not until July 29 2008 that Cecile went to support an indigenous-based town as if he was some UNESCO social-worker and not himself. and with that SPAYED was done. Melissa is out of any tour possibility with no left arm and in life-rehab. Daniel is still up and writing songs for hes Unknown band.
In April 2010 the band will meet each other in Valparaiso (South-America) and the "Eluding Fame Since 1983 Tour" should hit and take down Argentina, Brazil and Chile.
And if they don't ever meet each other again than we should all keep those barely released four Acetates as proof that there indeed was a Cult-band once, and it was considered as such by us only, everyone of us, and not by the Corporate Media.
