Oh yes, it is absolutely worth it for me. I don't feel that I waste money. I really enjoy buying CDs. First of all, I don't feel bad about getting new music in this way. No matter what you claim, and no matter how well you defend your "right" to download music, it is plain bullshit. No less. It is stealing. Even though a lot of people try, it is really not up to discussion. You get something of anothers persons possesion - the artist og artists, record company, manager etc., - for free. You just take it without paying the actual and rightful amount of money for it. You take away the artists' salary. The artists works hard to make music, to entertain you. Isn't it more than fair to take a little money for it? It is many people's job. What you do would be the same as if you were boss in some company, made people work very hard all month and then just refuse to pay at the end of the month. Would you do that? No, I certainly don't hope so. I know that you - and a lot of other people, - will claim that it isn't the same, but it is. You take a product without paying for it. A product that a lot of people - the artists, the record company's employees, the manager and it's company, promotion-companies, graphic designers etc. - has worked hard for and even payed money to make. You don't just make the artists salary smaller. A lot of people who has nothing to do with the album gets affected. The record company earns fewer money and is forced to put down the wages of their employees, maybe even fire them or shut down the company. The stores, whether it's Internet stores or actual stores you can visit physically, earns fewer money, because nobody wants to buy their stuff! The artists that's not well-known doesn't get any money out of their struggle, and a lot of them even end up paying money for their albums to come out due to low record sales. Even though many artists really likes the music and don't do it for the money at all, it can be hard for their economy, and that ends up in lesser or maybe even no records. That doesn't just take more money away from the before-mentioned people, that means that you and I doesn't get as much music, because the artists simply can't pay for it to come out. So it is not even extremely selfish and fucked up, it is also unbelievably stupid!

ITT Polkaface uses the arguement I used 10000000 times over before I realised how overpriced almost all the albums I actually want are.

I don't feel guilty about it, I just support the band through concert tickets. :)
