I just want to know everyone's opinions on the album. To me, it seems like a step forward musically because of all the post BM influences you can hear. Also, Atilla's voice seems more under control than in De Mysteriis.

DMDS is my favorit MayheM album, maybe my favorite BM album. So -for me- it can't be defeated by OAC. But! OAC is great after the time Gayniac was frontman of MayheM.

Nice production, good theme, awesome music.

I agree with Sylwith, happy that Gayniac left the band, altough WLA was pretty good - for me then -
OAC will never defeat the succes of DMDS, but it still is a fucking great album.

This album is good but not great, better than anything since dmds. The best part is easily the vocals and is a huge leap forward from chimera.

DMDS is great album, through, it would be better with Dead on vocals.

I love this album. Brilliant. Miles and miles ahead of Chimera (which was good).

Mayhem will never surpass the masterpiece of mis-spelt Latin, but this comes pretty close. I'm really looking forward to hearing the next one.
