  Hey guys, I'm the group leader here. I see what you're saying about the group picture, and I understand. But what I do think is that having a sense of humor is a good thing. I personally thought the picture was funny (and keep in mind, I made this group in 2007, when I was 17). But since some people are having a problem with it, and I don't want to make anyone feel left out, I will change it. Hopefully everyone finds the new picture to be in better taste. Oh, and shortbuzzrider, I don't know if you'll ever see this since you posted that question so long ago, but of course you can join if you have cyclothymia! Everyone with any form of bipolar disorder is welcome here. :)

  I would totally join this group but I hate the picture. As a matter of fact I chose it for a presentation about mood disorder stigmas. Since this is a group for people who hopefully appreciate who they are and not those who don't it might be a good idea to change the picture. I don't think there's anyone who would want to be identified with what that pictures illustrates. I have several bipolar friends and they are all brilliant, coherent, and arranged. To truly be educated on the disorder and rid yourself of stigmas visit www.bringchange2mind.org or www.dbsalliance.org I wish you all the best because you deserve it!
