So what's your favourite Avril song? Mine would have to be Slipped Away, Forgotten or Who Knows.

Favorite Avril´s song

As a huge fan of miss Lavigne, I´d have to say I love "My Happy Ending". It´s practilly religious thing listenning this song everyday. Love the lyrics, rythm, even the videoclip!

This song is about illusions in the love field. How dreams can fade away just like the memories of our true feelings.

I totally love Avril's song called Naked 'cos its lyrics are like my thoughts. Oh, it always makes me to think my dear... Its only song from Avril that i can sing by heart.

lol, I do like the lot of them :) Not all of 'em though - don't really like "He Wasn't" for instance, nor "Forgotten", "Freak Out"... But well, that's not what this thread is about :)

btw - forgot to mention "Tomorrow" in my previous post. Great song!

"Don't Tell Me"
Easily greatest song ever in my opinion, didn't like the lyrics at start, but it grows onto you until you can't it off your head.. i've almost played it everyday for 2 years now, well done Avril!:) just listen to Avrils acoustics and the simple electric guitar riff progression..nice
"Fall to pieces"
another great and addicting song, its simple but efficient.. good lyrics, i was so disappointed that this song or "who knows" didnt become a single, as "he wasn't" is nowhere as good as this one. I especially love the bass progression, you'll need good headsets, but it feels like another hidden dimension to the song, try it...;)
"My Happy Ending"
a bit more mainstream than the others i suppose, but its still great, so is the video. anyone else feel themselves related to the lyrics? but you couldnt really expect less than a big hit when Butch Walker is involved...:D
"I'm With You"
Avril has always good lyrics, and this mellow/quiet/sad song is superb! must admit the video fits well again, but what i like the most is the guitar progression.. try to play it yourself, its easy and amazing...:)

Hard choice to prefer this from "who knows" actually... i kinda like this one more, great lyrics... -->"im naked around you, does it show? and it feels so right.." i guess i was quite shocked when i first heard the "Let Go" cd, why did they put one of the best songs last? :)

"Who knows" is also great, anyone else enjoyed her singing that one in the Athens-olympics? ..."one things true, theres always a brand new day...im gonna live today like its my last day.."
Im a bit disapointed with "Keep Holding On", but I cant wait for the new album! :D

They're all of them so freacking amazing... the songs I love listening to the most are those whose lyrics are just like my feelings. And that is what I love the most from Avril, she sings exactly how I feel, she makes me feel great.

Some of those songs are Keep holding on, sk8ter boy, Who knows...
Man, there are a lot of them. Think of something, is there any bad song from her? They are all so damn great! Some better than others, but no bad song!!!
