    Hate or indifference?

What's your attitude thoward religion in general or some specific religions? Is it mailny emotional or based mainly on logic without strong emotions? Do you hate religions for some reason or you're just indifferent to it?

  • I'm indifferent toward organized religion in general, try to focus my criticisms and reservations on individual policies, actions and followers, and don't give a rolling fuck what other people choose to subscribe to as long as they're not dicks about it. So there aren't any religions/belief systems/what have yous in particular I feel any specific antipathy for, but some tend to elicit higher degrees of sympathy from me than others, depending on how I feel about their politics and practices.

I understand and respect that some people can and do find strength and inspiration in their faith and won't judge them on that basis, but I personally think that a) faith is overrated and b) organized religion is pointless at best and a toxic, derailing influence at worst. If you want to follow the teachings of Prophet X and/or give your life over to Deity Y, that's your business, but remember that you will never get anywhere unless you first cut out the middlemen and do it on your own.

  • It's a mixture of many things. Most of the time I am indifferent.

I dreaded sunny days so I'll meet you at the cemetery gates...

I've been standing by the nile when I saw the lady smile.
