communism today

  • Evil and Naïve?

Some people here call it naïve, others call it evil. Isn't that a little bit ridiculous? If communists are 'so naïve' to believe communism actually works out well and makes everyone happy, then they're actually rather cute, aren't they? Even though they're utterly stupid, they have good intentions.

If however they're evil and only want money or power, or whatever they're trying to reach by preaching the communist ideology, then they aren't necessarily naïve are they?

It's not both true. It's just an ideal, just one of many ways to organize our society, just a goal you can or can not reach for, something you can adjust your system to, with or without proportion. I'm not sure if I support communism, just as I'm not sure I support liberalism or social-democracy. In times of uncertainty I support nothing. But I don't find any of them evil.

Sure, you can say Stalin was evil, and so was Mao perhaps. But we're talking about communism today, which is just some lads, who think they know how to make this world a better place, which is a beautifull thing!

    ...

The problem is that communism today still lives due to the desolation it made. Despitting the true-communist-countries it makes kind a brain-wash out of people minds. It hasn't the form like 50-60 years ago, but today it's very associated with modern, western way of thinking. I would say that giving people too much unbridled, hedonist freedom is the best way to reveive communism. And those media lies like "albanian Kosovo", "genocides made by the Serbs" etc. Damn, they're good in their lies.

We don't do it for the glory. We don't do it for the recognition... We do it because it needs to be done.

as long the class struggle exists, there will be many who are proud to call themselves communists, of which i am one! nazism is unfairly demonized by jew media it's really not that bad though i can't say i support to any real degree and the vast vast majority of those who call themselves nazis today do not understand nazism and i'm sure hitler would have had them killed for believing in a 'white' race or whatever.

  • communism can be inherited after sick grandparents

Too afraid to stay, too smart to not leave,
too young to be a bird who forgot to sing,
and a ground that never knew the knees
of a boy and his own tale of two cities.
  • The reason why is people hate consumer capitalism and they think marxism is the only alternative.

This thinking is exactly what makes it so dangerous. Communism is taken 'a bit' too lightly imho.

It's just an ideal, just one of many ways to organize our society, just a goal you can or can not reach for
If someone really thinks, that communism is ideal in any way, (no matter if it's practicable or not) they are just sick. Communism brought to the core of its idea means: "The state is a firm and all its citizens are the employees". You see what's worng with that? How exactly did it not work anyway? What made the USSR not Communist? They had collecitve property, no unemployment and centrally planned economy. What really did not work is the "People beeing happy about it" part.

  • The problem with marxist philosophy is it's authoritarian methods and the fact it relies on totalitarianism to implement it's stratergies "successfully" (though history has proven it's failings). Marxism requires the absence of democracy and individual freedom, so naturally people react resentfully towards the patronising and violent quasi-parental figure of the leninist state.

The only reason why people still support marxism is because people have no faith in the current corporatist, globalist economics and they believe you need to turn to some wise, all powerful and all loving malevolent dictator who will make everything better. The problem with this is dictatorships never work, to quote the common phrase; "power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely".

North Korea and China are the worst countries where communism is to this day. It's really horrible that many people have to live in melancholic conditions. I hate communists.

You will listen to my bad scream \m/
