I've got 400+ folk over at LAUNCH.Groups.Yahoo.com/group/goldfrapp99 who I've quietly directed over here. I'll make a louder noise when this group's past about 30 members and things look a bit more lively.

Meantime, when I've a few hours to spare, I'll to a refresher on my Feat. Alison Goldfrapp article, which'll tempt a few more in here. To that end - Any over-tagging of the Feat Alison Goldfrapp tag'd be of benifit - y'all tagging your fav'e AG tracks.

Generally, I'm happy to let groups grow organically, without being pushy - this seems to result in quality. One pushy tech' that's likely to work well is:

1. start new list of invitees
2. for each track on Feat. Alison Goldfrapp: for each top fan:
   1. open the profile
   2. if Goldfrapp high in artist chart or Felt Mountain high in album chart, add user to invitee list
3. remove duplicates within list
4. remove users invited within last three months
5. remove users who're already members
6. post resulting invitee list here (for later use in [4], above)
7. send a group reco' to your list

If any-o-y'all'd like to put a link to the group in your forum sig's, this'd also help. Something like ...

A slightly more scattergun approach'd be to send group-to-group reco's to all the other groups high on the Groups Connected to Goldfrapp - however, that may overload the group with members unfamiliar/sympathetic with Alison pre-Black Cherry work.
