Tracks scrobbled multiple times, all with same time stamp.

Tracks scrobbled multiple times, all with same time stamp.

So, I'm not sure what's happened, but on my profile page it says that quite a few tracks have been played multiple times in a row when in reality I only listened to them once. Each entry also has the exact date and time as the others. In addition to this, some of my latest scrobbles today are appearing as though they were scrobbled yesterday (i.e. Tracks marked with 'Yesterday Afternoon' when in fact they were played a couple of hours ago)

Any idea on why this is, or has my scrobbler ballsed itself up?

    Thanks! :)

This may be related to what's discussed in this thread: http://www.last.fm/forum/34905/_/2018534

I have not seen a solution for this problem yet.

if they have exactly the same timestamp then they are duplicates of the same scrobble. deleting one will delete them all. should just be a display error.

That deleting one will delete both is not always true. As I mentioned in the thread I linked to, I have had numerous duplicate scrobbles with the exact time stamp which were not linked to each other and I could delete one without deleting the other. The duplicates would appear anywhere from hours to a couple days after the original scrobble.

The other way duplicates would appear would have a time stamp a couple of minutes later than the original scrobble. These dups would also appear at variable times after the original scrobble.

I have had duplicates which were linked together such that deleting one would delete the other, but these have been the minority of dups I have seen.

OTOH, for me, anyway, these spurious dups have been much less common than they were a couple months ago, although they still appear from time to time.
