Last.FM memory leak on Lion (10.7.3)

I've been listening to music on and off using iTunes for about 8 days now. Scrobbling the songs when I listen to music.

Just out of curiosity I opened "Activity Monitor" on my Mac mini, I know the amount of RAM used by the client does not affect the performance of my system in any way. But it's strange that scrobbling music tracks can use over 1GB of memory!

There's a serious problem here, especially for people who does not have the high amount of RAM on their system(s).
