I'm new to scrobbling from ipod so I was very excited to try it out. I compiled the scrobble software from source (linux) and the process from "scrobbling from ipod" in the application appeared to work fine. Except that the track played date was really old (1/1/70 !), and I think that's where the problem lies. The scrobbler returned no error, but the tracks don't appear in the profile. I checked the log and it says: 120115 21:29:39 - 3052464416 - merge(383) - L3 Won't scrobble track from before the date Audioscrobbler project was founded!I also read about the policy that tracks older than 2 weeks don't get submitted.
I found nothing about the issue and nothing about it in all sticky threads about scrobbler and ipod usage.
Tracks from ipod shuffle too old?!
