    ie in offline mode?
    proxy/firewall blocking?

  • don't have that problem

did you install a special software recently (e.g. firewall where you need to enable lfm?)

    in the program:
go to Help > Diagnostics, there you have log files which can help analyzing perhaps

last.fm tools: music soulmates, recommender for: bands, last.fm groups, trends, ...
  • This is happening to me too, no firewall, no offline mode... It won't even verify my account and let me log on the client. I've been using it for almost six years and it suddenly cut off between two songs, it's really odd....

  • Yeah, I "scrobbled" from both my android phone AND desktop client, and it just isn't working. When I got Comodo Firewall, there was no problem. The only thing different is my new service provider, but I was scrobbling from my Android the day before that happened (at least it said it was scrobbling, of course the data is just floating around now). I'm testing to see if it will get submitted when I use the scrobbler's radio. It seems a few other people have this problem, so I'm guessing the server is being screwy to a select few...
EDIT: Scrobble from the radio service didn't show up on the site. I'll wait it out and I won't complain, but I really do hope this gets fixed.

  • I didn't change anything! I listened to an album, and the first tracks got scrobbled; the last part did not. Since, nothing has been scrobbling on account of having "no server" to connect to...

There was a minor problem last night, are any of you still experiencing problems scrobbling via the Last.fm client software?

Ah, I was wondering if I was the only one who couldn't log in on the client. My account broke sometime in december, have had the same isp for like 5 years now, nothing new.

  • Still only scrobbles to the cache or something. Says it's scrobbling, didn't say I had a wrong username or password, just isn't going through.

I was able to get my client scrobbling again, I think my school internet was to blame, I took my computer to another internet access point and was able to log in there. Once I was logged in I was able to scrobble on the school's internet too. Anyone else having this problem I would try using a different isp (friends or parents or something) then connect there and come back.

  • i'm having the same problem here too -
some other threads suggested that I change my password. i tried that, but now it keeps giving me the "Login Failed" pop-up whenever I try to log-in on the scrobbler ... i just want my charts to be updated again :[
