  • Hasn't he said that many times before

  • They say he's been avoiding them

to be honest, both their positions are as stubborn as each other.

Both sides haven't shied away from saying they'd attack each other.

I think there should be compromise, if Iran would let Russia/EU-US monitor their nuclear stations perhaps. Otherwise no one can be sure Iran are making a bomb.

My issue with this has always been, so what if they do build a bomb? North Korea has them, Russia don't even know how many they have and where...I'm more concerned that Israel has fissile warheads, frankly.

Quote of the moment - selfsurprise:
"My rolo yoghurt pots bring 'dem kids to the yard, and i'm like 'its better than ya'lls'
yer damn right its better than ya'lls'
I can teach you but i'll have to charge (+VAT, duty stamp tax, etc et all)"
  • Well no one was certain Israel were making the bomb. They should have sanctioned them too, seeing as they're a bit trigger happy.

Surrounded by armed bastids as Gene Hunt would say. They shouldn't have let them develop them in the first place.

Iran would be silly to engage in a war with America though, they'd get fucked over. Myabe they've finally realised that.

  • I actually like the Iranian President, he's under a lot of pressure from all sides including the fanatics in his own country.

I can understand the need for talks over their nuclear program, but let's face it, when the oil is finally gone, what're they going to use for a source of power? Solar panels? This is a very serious issue, one that the whole world needs to attend to.

While I wouldn't say Iike him, you are right in saying that.

It is wrong to talk about Ahmadinejad as if he is actually important, he is really just a glorified spokeperson for the Revolutionary Guards/the Ayatollahs.

As others have said, who cares if they get the bomb, I am more feart about a nuclear Pakistan or Israel. The Iranian regime is not suicidal, it won't do anything too ridiculous that would make war necessary. And people forget they haven't actually broken any international rules on there nuclear projects. I fear though that they might end up making the bomb just to defends itself from the inevitable attack by the Americans (with us dutifuly obliging to help the Americans)

I would like the Iranian regime to fuck off, but it is not out job to get rid of them/

I actually think we're much less likely to follow the mericans into war now than we were before. Sure, they'll still pressure us if it comes to it, but Cameron is much more stern hearted and more staunch than Brown and Blair were before him.

The only loser in this conflict is the people of Iran .while the western world gets oil from another source and Ahmadinejad remains proud and strong,Ahmadinejad's citizens are under big economic crisis that's increasing prices in Iran .

  • That could be said of the majority of Western politicians.

If the US intervenes militarily, the price of gas is going to double or triple even though we don't get our oil from iran. It would probably send the US right back into the depression & take the rest of the world's economy down with it.

US don't need to send troops to iran cause the boycott of iran is already effecting the people of iran .
The leader of iran have another side to worry about besides " the invaders and the Jews" and its his own people cause soon enough iran will be in huge economic crisis because of his arrogance.

You like this guy, really? You like a guy who thinks this about the Holocause?
