I wanna know just one thing...

When will this be working properly again? The "Realtime Observation" is one of the features that I miss most, since it would take just a single click to find out what all of my friends were listening to.

EDIT: I couldn't be bothered to post this anywhere else on the Forum. As I'm super cool and don't have to.

So? You don't expect it to update constantly throughout the day do you?

Anyway, quit whining. Mine hasn't updated since the 23rd and like yourself, I'm a subscriber. Yet you don't see me complaining about it.

It would probably be more useful to post this on the last.fm forums most likely as a bug report, rather than spamming the front page news thread. Yes I know you aren't spamming in that you're not posting a ton of messages, but you are spamming in that it's completely off topic, and posts like yours are the reason that front page threads end up getting locked.

I love the site dearly, I definately don't mind paying a few bucks for it ^_^

But is there any difference between subscribers? Like will people who donate more quere-jump further ahead than people who donate less?

i guess that won't matter so much after the upgrade?

Dude, for a list of about 2000 tracks, it'll update after every 100th or 150th track.

I think he means that the recent tracks continue to show up as they play, but the place for number of songs played doesn't get any higher. I'm having the same problem. Does this mean the data that shows up in recent tracks is being lost since the song count doesn't go up?

If your tracks are showing up in the Recent Tracks, then they aren't lost, but have entered the queue for processing. When they have been processed, then your Songs Played will increase.
Currently, it looks like there is about a half day backlog in the queue. Hard to tell, since it also looks like the Submissions Waiting info (red) is no longer being sent to the Chart.

And one other thing, which I've read a few people complaining about but I haven't seen the answer to: Your Weekly Artist track count may be higher than your Top Artist track count if the Top Artists were generated before the Weekly chart, and you listened to more of that band in the interim.

(Unless things are still fucked, but everything else seems excellent. My missing artists returned!)

I'm not gonna cry a river or something. I only want to understand the principles of updating lists, when they are triggered.

You see, it's quite frustrating when people are happy with their updates and you just have to scratch your head and wonder what's going wrong :)
