I've written a plugin as well which works in Firefox, Chrome, and any other browser that can take User Scripts. Hopefully that helps someone out other than just me. :)

Amazon Cloud Player with Last.fm Scrobbling for Greasemonkey and Chrome

This script has stopped working in the past few days, and danielslaughter's website appears to be down. Hrrm.

  • Ditto what G3K just said

  • Re: plugins

I tried reinstalling without luck. Amazon security settings must have changed to prohibit scrobbling.

    Write them an email: amazonmp3-feedback@amazon.com.

Looks like it's working again? I forgot to post about this last week when it began working again. Must have been an issue with the plugin author's site?

The user script option worked for me, but the Chrome extension did not -- probably has something to do with proxy settings behind the firewall. (I work at a large financial institution and they don't allow me to do very much.)

    EDIT
Something interesting I was seeing: I installed the Chrome extension first and that didn't work, so I installed the User Script approach and that seemed to be working. But then I noticed that the User Script was only scrobbling tracks when in the "songs" view, but not when playing songs from album or artist views. I un-installed the Chrome Extension and am now only using the User Script, and it seems that the User Script is performing perfectly.

Thanks to both developers for their efforts. I think the only reason why the Chrome Extension isn't working for me is some locked down proxies or something with my work network.

    Cheers! Scrobble on!!

hmmm... what am i doing here?
  • This is working PERFECTLY for me in Chrome.

Has anyone worked out a way to scrobble from Amazon's player when you're using a Kindle Fire?
